Facilitators
One of our key strengths is the quality of our highly trained and highly personable accredited facilitators. Bookbuzz facilitators are business professionals who share our passion for books, who love being part of an exchange of views on the issues thrown up by books, and who are entirely comfortable working with top executives.

While remaining an active participant in the discussion, the facilitator is not there to teach, train or preach. The facilitator’s role is to ensure a lively debate, and to encourage each individual participant to engage in fresh thinking. It is not the facilitator’s role to look for consensus. As the Bookbuzz discussion session progresses, the facilitator gradually guides the discussion away from a critique of the book, and focuses on how the issues raised impact on the experience of the participants.

How our facilitators add value:
  • By separating process from content, the facilitator brings discipline to the discussion.
  • Because the impartial facilitator is not part of the client’s hierarchy, the quality of participant engagement is significantly enhanced.
  • By coming from outside the organization, the facilitator is better able to see beyond the issues and the personalities.
  • The facilitator empowers participants by reminding them that there are no wrong opinions and no wrong comments.
