Guiding principles
- bookbuzz™ believes that learning is about freedom of choice, not about politically correct consensus.
- bookbuzz™ believes that learning is about asking questions, not about supplying answers.
- bookbuzz™ believes that books have the power to inspire new ideas, new perspectives, new horizons.
- bookbuzz™ believes that executives should be encouraged to develop a healthy skepticism.
- bookbuzz™ believes that executives should reach their own conclusions as to which ideas will work and which ideas are valuable.
- bookbuzz™ believes that no single author has a monopoly on business truths or on effective business strategies.
- bookbuzz™ believes that an author’s message should be neither accepted nor rejected just because the book is a bestseller.
- bookbuzz™ believes that if a book gives the reader one new idea, one new tip, or one new insight, it has made a valuable contribution.
- bookbuzz™ believes that facilitated and group discussions help participants to sharpen their comprehension and gain insights from others.
- bookbuzz™ believes that the dynamics of facilitated group discussions spills over into the way executives interact outside the discussion.
Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher.
