War & Power

You are invited to a 2-hour facilitated discussion
to introduce the
bookbuzz™ WAR and POWER programme
based on the books of Robert Greene:

WAR & POWER is a learning programme designed for the time-poor executive. Participants read selected passages from Robert Greene’s The 33 Strategies of War and The 48 Laws of Power, before joining a series of facilitated discussion sessions. In these sessions, the books serve as a launch-pad for open-ended round-table debate designed to stimulate fresh ideas and new thinking in the boardroom and beyond.

WarThe 33 Strategies of War – This guide to the subtle social game of everyday life contains examples of strategies followed by Napoleon, Alexander the Great, Margaret Thatcher, and others. Greene claims that military combat is a fitting metaphor for getting ahead in life.

The 48 Laws of PowerThe 48 Laws of Power – This manual on one-upmanship. Claims that certain actions always increase our power, while others decrease it and even ruin us. Greene uses anecdotes from notable historical figures such as Bismarck, Kissinger and Mao Zedong.
